Tour Description
Feel the absolute thrill of jumping out of a plane! No better scenery to look down at than beautiful Costa Rica. The jump is quite scenic, actually, with different beaches, islands, rivers, and mountains of the Central Pacific.
All the instructions, equipment are provided beforehand; the freefall lasts about 20-30 seconds from 8,000 feet and is followed by a 5 to 8-minute parachute ride back to land!
Skydiving is located South of Jaco in Quepos, basically just over an hour’s drive, transportation is not included, but we can arrange it for you for an additional cost.

Verified Worth every colones!
This had to be one of the most personalized and most fun tours I have ever experienced in my 55 years of life travels! We were picked up by the owner, Robert. He right on time and helpful loading us and our belongings into the vehicle. Along the way, we had a great conversation, which we all seemed to really feel comfortable with one another. So, we insisted he join us for the day. The Captain, Erick was super at spotting humpback whales and their babies, turtles, and manta rays on our way both to and from the island. He was very helpful with us all when it came to the getting us all in and out of the vessel plus, helping my best friend’s husband retrieve his drone that stopped responding to his controls. He also took us by a close island and showed us the cutest little squirrel monkeys. Where we drifted peacefully alongside the islands shore whilst we were given a delightfully light and airy chicken empanada and a choice of juice or water for breakfast. It really hit the spot! The owner, Robert, was so sweet and knowledgeable! Wonderful sense of humor, I might add. He was also very patient with teaching my best friend how to use the subwing. I have severe back problems and was afraid the subwing would agitate it making for a miserable day, so I opted out of trying it out. My girlfriend on the other hand said it was an absolute blast! We could really tell she was having the time of her life too. Both her and Robert enjoyed some time on the subwing but cut it short due to several jelly fish that decided to move into the area. Then we headed to Tortuga’s beach for some snorkeling, floating, swimming, more whale watching (they weren’t far out), sunbathing and lunch. While eating lunch, we were joined by peccaries and iguanas. The water is perfect. A tiny bit cool but perfect to cool you off from the Costa Rican sun. Luckily, we brought some cash/colones with us as the use of the facilities was 600 per use/each person. Ollie on the island, owns a restaurant/bar and makes delicious rum and fresh coconut drinks(small fee). For lunch OH MY GOD….. I don’t know if we were all just starving to death from playing all afternoon but we practically inhaled lunch! We all ordered the chicken that was tender and very flavorful. It came with a simple rice topped with fragrant cilantro and a lime wedge, for spritzing. Alongside the rice and chicken was a perfectly portioned skewer of grilled vegetables such as broccoli, tomato, bell pepper, and onion. There was also a cucumber, red onion and tomato salad with a vinaigrette dressing. Absolutely delicious 😋 The other option that we didn’t choose but Robert did, was fish. The only difference in sides was that he had black beans which he shared with my friends as they love black beans and rice 😂 Returning back to the mainland, we encountered more whales and a few dolphins. We captured (on video)some manta rays jumping out and back into the water as well. I was enjoying myself so much, I forgot to take hardly any pictures. I just wanted to be “in the moment”. Just truly a delightful, fun, relaxing, adventurous all wrapped into one, day! Robert, you will forever be remembered for you hospitality and sense of humor. Erick, you were such an attentive captain pointing out all of the wildlife, we were very grateful! Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts. We hope to return someday soon and see you again!!!

Wow! Absolute best day ever. Robert was the greatest captain and such a joy to be around. We saw so many dolphins and monkeys, we snorkeled, subwinged, and had many hours on a beach with chairs pre reserved for us! Robert was so friendly and made sure we were all enjoying our time. He provided breakfast, drinks, and lunch, as well as all of the boat taxis and transportation from our hotel. His boat was perfect for our group and very comfortable. 10/10 could not recommend more!

Verified Amazing sunset cruise - Favorite part of our trip!
We had an incredible time with Captain Rob (aka Coach Rob) on the Sunset Cruise! We really wanted to do a boat ride but did not want to dedicate a whole day to one of the longer tours, and this one was absolutely perfect! Don't be fooled by there only being a couple reviews. The sunset cruise is a new offering, but he has many more amazing reviews on his other tour options you can check out. Captain Rob was very prompt picking us up, the boat was super clean and he even had some beverages and fruit/snacks for us, which was great. We rode out for a bit before stopping to jump in the water, float on some pool noodles and enjoy a cold beer or two! After we were done swimming, we hopped back in the boat and took a ride along the coastline, even finding some dolphins that ended up swimming right up next to the boat! The weather was perfect and the sunset was gorgeous. Pictures do not do it justice. Overall, this was our favorite experience of the entire trip and we would book it again in a heartbeat next time we visit!

Great ride, had 3 kids under 3, my parents and my wife and I. Felt safe, clean boat. Robert took care of us with refreshments and a light snack. Arranged transportation from Jaco for us. Highly recommend the experience.

Verified Fun, great service, beautiful scenery
We were a group of 5 from the US. We had an amazing time on the all day boat trip to tortuga island. We started the day with an exciting boat ride then loved snorkeling in calm water. My 2 daughters, ages 6 and 8, especially loved seeing the monkeys on the small island. Then the best part of the day was relaxing in chairs on the beach and swimming at tortuga island. Afterward, before the boat ride back to jaco, we tried the subwing which was fun to try. Robert provided great service with the day coordinated well. I appreciate that the trip included a morning snack, drinks, lunch, and the water activities like snorkeling and the subwing. It was great to have a personalized boat ride experience during our Costa Rican vacation!

Captain Robert provided a delightful day for my family. I recommend this charter very highly, and you will have one of your best days during your Costa Rica visit. Robert is a highly skilled captain and is very knowledgeable of the area. He has great relationships with the other vendors on Tortuga Island and Herradura, which affords his guests superior service and excellent hospitality. On Tortuga Island, for instance, a water taxi was waiting for us, there were reserved beach chairs and umbrellas right on the beach, and Captain Robert had arranged for a delicious meal of chicken, fish and fresh vegetables. A fully packed cooler of water, beer, juice and rum punch was always available. The tour originates from Playa Herradura and then it's a short trip across the Gulf of Nicoya to a wonderful snorkeling area just off Tortuga Island. The pace of the charter is very relaxed, and Captain Robert will accommodate whatever you wish to do. The Sub Wings are a really exciting activity, and you have never experienced moving underwater at such velocity. We also got to take a tour to a smaller island with Spider Monkeys that come right up to the edge of the water. The Tortuga Island portion of the charter is a relaxed party atmosphere with numerous stands offering food, cocktails and souvenirs. If you are so inclined, you can also buy 30 minutes of Wifi for $1. The Island also features real restrooms and some additional water activities. We enjoyed a lovely lunch (at Donde.charly, I believe it's called) in the shade and saw Tapirs roaming about at the edge of the treeline. Tortuga Island is a real delight and some of the best sand and gentle surf that we have found in Costa Rica. Overall, this charter is well organized, leisurely paced and just long enough that you will return tired and happy, but not so long that you come back exhausted. If you and your family enjoy the water then this is an excellent full day excursion to choose.

I went with my sister and dad to the tortuga island tour. We had a great day on the water. We saw dolphins, monkeys, and turtles. We started off snorkeling and saw lots of fish. It is a very personalized experience and my family loves water activities so this was a great tour for us. When we got to tortuga island we had reserved chairs and a full lunch included. Robert has drinks and beer included as well. We did pay extra on the beach to get a piña colada in a pineapple. It was delicious and highly recommend! Most of the other tours I looked at did not include any of this. We were not interested in doing a big group tour. We were picked up at our hotel right on time and the process was made super seamless. Robert (captain) is from the Netherlands and is very easy to get along with. Highly recommend this tour my family really enjoyed it!
